Balloon Race 2005

Of our charitable efforts in 2005 included a balloon race that
proved very popular.  Over 200 hundred balloons were launched
at our 60s meet,

The winning balloon  traveled to a remote location near
Eassington, East Yorkshire a total of 169.23 miles.

The actual spot where it landed is marked red.

Congratulations to Dave South who bought the winning ticket.
Also thanks to Dave for donating a proportion of his winnings
to our worthy causes - thanks mate..
